Perhaps JWed can include a section where someone from the JWed team can ask members interesting or even funny questions questions.
I've noticed that for the community section, most, not all of course, of the questions, are negative, even complaints, from other JWed members. A negative forum is hardly a productive way of meeting for the sake of marriage, or a relationship. Perhaps in addition to the type of forum already in place, maybe you can have another kind of forum where someone from the Jwed team asks a positive or even funny question. This way it would allow fellow JWedders to respond in a more positive light, and hopefully lead to more positive results.

Contacting members
I recently wanted to comment on something that another woman wrote in the forum section but wanted to send her a private message rather than posting the comment in the forum for everyone to read. I was not able to send her a message. I think that members should be able to contact other members freely. I would love to connect with some of the woman I've interacted with from the forum.

general search filter.
There was a previous suggestion to add a "pet person" search filter. I would like to suggest a more general idea, that is: to allow searching any string of words in the persons profile. For example you may remember the words "chocolate ice cream" while reading someones profile but can't find that person anymore. This way, by allowing a general search string you will be able to find that profile again.

Enforcing members to respond irrelevant of interest...
If someone gets a 1st message, they should be required to respond, even if they want to decline. They shouldn't be allowed to send or receive messages until they do so!

Disabilities Option
Can you please add an option on the pages for "Disabilities" so that members may add info about disabilities they may have?
I was talking to a member on here, who didn't admit that she had an impediment and/or disability. And after getting to know them, made it awkward to say "no" after they mentioned it. 3 days after first contact.
Please add this feature.

Search method improvement
Hi
The current search method is lacking the ability to do the most basic, most popular search type : to filter by people with photos only AND to order the results by new members/best match etc.
This makes searching very frustrating and time consuming-- please could you fix?

Screening
I have only made contact with 1 viable match, he tells me he converted to Judaism and needs a teacher or coach! Did I go on ConvertWed to find a partner? I am very frustrated at having paid for this!!!

A Kohen filter that prevents communication between men who are qualified as Kohanim and women who are not allowed to marry a Kohen.

REASON FOR REJECTION
When I tried clicking on the reason for rejecting a match, it did not pop into the box. "Choose one" still displayed. A real time-waster, as I tried multiple times.

Are you planning on incorporating an opt-in/outable mutual favoriting feature?

For now we do not have an opt-in/out feature for a favorite. However, you can delete or add a favorite to your favorite list.

you may increase your membership and change advertising by following pay plan. pay one dollar more each month as member. first month one dollar, second month $2, third month $3 and if people like it they stay. the only thing people may sign off and sign back up for $1 so each member should have unique id like DOB plus last 4 of social..

Include a kashrut level question in Orthodox/Shomer Mitzvot profiles
Could include options such as: eat only dairy out (in non-kosher establishments), chalav Yisrael, only reliable kosher symbols...

Payment for services
Please make it possible to pay for membership with an Israeli sheqel credit card. Not everyone has dollar accounts.

Are there chat rooms?
How about chat rooms? You can filter language so why not have a roaming moderator, possibly a volunteer from the site? Talking real time is important and may make some people more likely to sign up.

That is a great question. Unfortunately, we do not have chat rooms. We have an instant messenger feature which will allow you to communicate with one other member at a time.

A new status between Blocked and Unblocked
Sometimes you don't want to block someone; you just don't want to see them. They may see you contact you if they wish.

Add to Search Filter: Pet Person or Non-Pet Person
Some people are not "pet-people"; some are avid pet-people ... for those who are pet-people, it's not a given that every person is ... and finding like-minded people in this area is not such an easy find.
Pet varieties also play a role--clarifying what type of pets you have or would like/accept in your home also needs to be clarified in the search filters.
Please vote for this idea to help like-minded people find each other.

That is a great suggestion! We value this piece of feedback on regards to whether you are a pet person or not. I would say, if you are for now, please try to clarify that in your description so that other members can see. A member who is also an avid pet person is sure to respond!
